Admission Process

Admission Process – United University, Prayagraj

The admission process at United University is designed to be simple, transparent, and student-friendly. Admissions are offered through merit-based and entrance-based modes, depending on the programme.

Step 1: Registration
Candidates must complete the online registration form available on the official university website by entering personal, academic, and contact details.

Step 2: Application Fee Payment
After submitting the registration form, applicants are required to pay the prescribed application fee to complete the application process.

Step 3: Entrance Exam / Merit Evaluation

Admission to many programmes is based on the United University Admission Test (UUAT).

National-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, CAT, MAT, CMAT, and NEET (for medical courses) are also accepted for relevant programmes.

Some courses, such as Diploma programmes, offer admission purely on merit based on qualifying examination marks.

Step 4: Interview / Counselling (if applicable)
For select programmes like PhD and professional courses, candidates may be required to appear for a personal interview or counselling session.

Step 5: Final Selection & Offer Letter
Shortlisted candidates receive a provisional admission offer based on performance in the entrance exam, interview, or merit list.

Step 6: Document Verification & Fee Submission
Candidates must submit required documents for verification, including:

10th and 12th mark sheets

Graduation certificates (for PG/PhD programmes)

Transfer/School Leaving Certificate

Aadhaar Card or valid ID proof

Birth Certificate

Passport-size photographs

Upon successful verification and payment of the admission fee, admission is confirmed.

United University follows a merit-cum-first-come, first-served policy, ensuring fairness and timely allocation of seats.
