Established in 2010 under the Shri Venkateshwara University Uttar Pradesh Act, SVU is a private state university promoted by the Sri Bankey Bihari Educational & Welfare Trust and is a proud part of the Venkateshwara Group of Institutions.

Admission Process

The admission process at Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU) is designed to be transparent, merit-based, and student-friendly. Admissions are offered across Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certificate, and Doctoral programs through the following steps:

Application Submission
Candidates can apply online or offline by submitting the prescribed application form along with required academic documents.

Eligibility Verification
Applications are screened to ensure candidates meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the chosen program.

Entrance Examination / Merit Basis

Admission to most programs is based on merit in qualifying examinations.

Certain programs require entrance exam scores, such as:

SVUCET for select university-level programs (e.g., B.Sc. Nursing)

NEET for medical and health science courses

GATE for M.Tech programs

Other national/state-level entrance exams as applicable

Personal Interview / Counseling
Shortlisted candidates may be called for counseling or personal interviews, depending on the program.

Seat Allotment & Fee Payment
Seats are allotted based on merit, entrance scores, and availability. Candidates must confirm admission by paying the prescribed fees within the stipulated time.

Document Verification & Enrollment

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for admission at Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU), candidates must fulfill the minimum academic and regulatory requirements as outlined below:

Undergraduate Programs:
Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with the required subjects and minimum percentage as specified for the chosen program.

Postgraduate Programs:
Candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with the prescribed minimum marks.

Diploma / Certificate Programs:
Eligibility varies by course and generally requires 10th or 10+2 qualification from a recognized board.

Doctoral (PhD) Programs:
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in the relevant discipline and qualify in the prescribed entrance test and interview as per university norms.

Entrance Examinations:
Valid scores in NEET, GATE, SVUCET, or other national/state-level entrance exams may be required for specific programs.

Age & Regulatory Norms:
Candidates must meet the age limits, medical fitness, and regulatory requirements prescribed by statutory bodies such as AICTE, NMC, INC, PCI, and NCTE, wherever applicable.
