Graphic Era Hill University was founded in 2011 with a vision to create a learning environment where knowledge, innovation, and inspiration come together to shape future leaders. Located in the beautiful city of Dehradun in Uttarakhand, the University has grown into a trusted name in higher education known for academic excellence, modern research culture, and a vibrant student community. GEHU was established under the Graphic Era Education Society and is recognised by the UGC along with approvals from AICTE, BCI, and PCI.

The University operates three self sufficient campuses located in Dehradun, Bhimtal, and Haldwani. GEHU holds an A plus grade accreditation by NAAC and is ranked seventy ninth in the NIRF Overall Rankings twenty twenty four. The University also secured the forty fifth position in the IIRF MBA Rankings twenty twenty five. Admissions for twenty twenty five twenty six are based on merit and entrance examinations like GECET, JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, and GATE depending on the programme. Scholarships are also available for meritorious students, women candidates, children of defence personnel, siblings, and loyal students.

The placement record of the University reflects its strong industry connect. In twenty twenty five the highest package reached forty seven point eight eight lakh per annum with students placed in leading companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, Deloitte, PayPal, IBM, Accenture, Genpact, and NAB.
