Admission Process

Admissions at Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam University, Indore are conducted through both merit and entrance-based selection depending on the course level:

Undergraduate (UG) Courses: Admission based on marks obtained in 10+2 or equivalent examination. For B.Tech/B.Arch programs, valid JEE Main/NATA scores are required.

Postgraduate (PG) Courses: Selection based on graduation marks and relevant entrance exams such as GATE for M.Tech and GPAT for M.Pharm.

Ph.D. Programs: Admission through a university-level entrance test followed by a personal interview. Candidates with valid NET/GATE/GPAT scores may be exempted from the written test.
Application Mode: Online through the official university website — candidates must fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the prescribed application fee.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

UG Courses: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with at least 45–50% marks (depending on the program).

B.Tech/B.E: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics + a valid JEE Main score.

B.Pharm: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.

PG Courses: A Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.

M.Tech: Graduation in Engineering/Technology + a valid GATE score.

M.Pharm: B.Pharm with a valid GPAT score.

Ph.D. Programs: Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks (or 50% for reserved categories) + performance in the university entrance test/interview.
