IES University stands as a symbol of visionary education, built on the belief that learning should empower individuals and transform communities. The journey began in 1999 with the establishment of Infotech Education Society, led by renowned educationists Er. B. S. Yadav and Prof. Dr. Sunita Singh. Their commitment to educational excellence eventually shaped the foundation of IES University in 2019. Today, their passion continues to inspire a vibrant academic environment driven by innovation, values and student success.

Over the last two decades, the University has grown into a multidisciplinary hub guided by respected academicians, researchers, engineers, and industry professionals who work together to uplift society through quality education. IES University offers a wide range of Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs across fields like Engineering, Education, Management, Nursing, Pharmacy, Agriculture, BAMS, Design, Journalism and Mass Communication. The Society also nurtures foundational learning through its schools from Pre-Nursery to K-12, with branches in both Bhopal and Sehore.

The University is set on a beautiful fifty five acre green campus in Bhopal that has earned several national recognitions. It is the first Gold Certified Green Campus by IGBC Hyderabad and the recipient of the Clean Campus Award from AICTE. It is also the first Tobacco Free Campus declared by the Government of Madhya Pradesh. These accomplishments reflect the institution’s commitment to a clean, sustainable and student-friendly learning environment.

IES University aims to prepare students with deep domain knowledge, essential life skills and a growth mindset that helps them thrive in both industry and professional spheres. The University has witnessed remarkable progress, with rapidly increasing programs, expanding research contributions and exceptional placement records. More than one hundred thirty five renowned companies including TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Juspay, Capgemini and Tavisca visited the campus and offered placements to over five hundred IES students by 2022. Many students received multiple offers and the highest package reached thirteen lakh per annum. For the past eight years, IES has proudly been the second largest placement provider in Bhopal.

To strengthen industry readiness, IES University maintains collaborations with prestigious global and national institutions. It has signed MOUs with Metropolitan College New York, NASSCOM, UK Education India and College of Engineering Pune. COEP also serves as the official mentor of IES College of Technology. The University hosts Central India’s first CII Education Excellence Forum that works on institutional development through training, counseling, cluster programs, conclaves and leadership initiatives for educators.

Strong corporate partnerships further enhance student training. Affiliations with Microsoft Innovation Center and IBM Center of Excellence help students learn advanced technologies and develop corporate-ready skills. Faculty members regularly participate in workshops and technical training conducted by TCS, IBM and IIT Bombay to stay updated with emerging trends.

Students of IES have achieved national recognition in innovation and technology competitions. They reached the Grand Finale of the country’s largest technical contest, the Accenture Innovation Challenge, and won the Most Popular Idea of the Season Award. The IES team also secured the First Position in Accenture Innovation Jockey Season Four, winning a trip to Silicon Valley, San Francisco along with premium Apple devices and career opportunities.

IES University follows an environment conscious approach and operates a one hundred kilowatt solar power plant installed on campus. The project was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel, and stands as a symbol of the University’s dedication to sustainability.

The University continues to grow with a strong commitment to becoming a centre of excellence of both national and global standing. It offers full time programs approved by UGC, AICTE, NCET, PCI and INC. Courses include Engineering, Pharmacy, Nursing, Management, Agriculture and more, with additional short-term certifications in Hotel Management like Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office and Accommodation Operations.

IES University promotes a flexible placement culture where students can participate in multiple interviews until they secure an opportunity. The placement cell encourages students to take part in Hackathons, Startup Boot Camps and Innovation Contests to build confidence and entrepreneurial skills. In 2024, companies like Amazon, Oracle, Cipla, Lupin, HCL, JayPay, CEAT, Cadila, Glenmark, PNB Housing and Muthoot visited the campus for recruitment. The highest salary package recorded was twenty one lakh per annum and the average was over five lakh per annum, with an overall placement rate of around eighty percent.

The University is recognised for its academic excellence and strong reputation. It is ranked first among Emerging Institutes of Madhya Pradesh by The Week. It is placed at the eighty sixth position by EducationWorld at the national level, between two hundred one and three hundred in NIRF Engineering for IES College of Technology, and between one hundred one and one hundred twenty five in NIRF Pharmacy for IES Institute of Pharmacy. It is also accredited with NAAC A Plus.

With seventy seven courses across Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, Science, Education and Professional Studies, IES University prepares students for a future shaped by innovation, leadership and purpose. The admission process accepts JEE Main, CUET UG, CUET PG and ICAT depending on the program.

Admission Process
