About Us

Varun Arjun University (VAU), Shahjahanpur, is a young and progressive private university established under the UGC Act, 1956 through the Uttar Pradesh Government Act No. 12 of 2019, as notified on 21 November 2023. Promoted by the Varun Arjun Trust, the University commenced its academic journey in the 2023–24 session with a clear vision to redefine higher education through quality, innovation, and social responsibility.

Situated in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Varun Arjun University is steadily evolving into a center of academic excellence and global learning. Admission Process

Admission Process

Application Submission
Candidates must fill out the application form online through the official university website or obtain the form from the admission office.

Eligibility Check
Applications are reviewed to ensure candidates meet the eligibility criteria as per the chosen program and regulatory guidelines.

Entrance Examination / Merit-Based Selection

Admissions to medical programs (MBBS/MD/MS) are conducted as per NEET and NMC norms.

Other UG, PG, and Diploma programs are offered based on merit and/or university entrance tests, as applicable.

Counselling & Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates are invited for counseling, where original documents are verified.

Seat Allotment
Seats are allotted based on merit, entrance score, availability of seats, and applicable reservation policies.

Fee Payment
Selected candidates must pay the prescribed admission and tuition fees within the stipulated timeline to confirm their seat.

Final Admission Confirmation
Upon successful fee payment and verification, admission is confirmed and students receive enrollment details.

Commencement of Classes
Students are informed about the academic schedule and orientation program prior to the start of classes.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination from a recognized board/university as per the program applied for.

Minimum Marks:
Applicants should have secured the minimum percentage/grade required by the University and relevant regulatory bodies.

Subject Requirements:

Medical & Health Sciences programs: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination.

Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Health programs: Relevant science subjects as prescribed.

Entrance Examination:

MBBS / MD / MS: Valid NEET score as per NMC guidelines.

Other programs: Merit-based or university entrance test, if applicable.

Age Criteria:
Candidates must meet the minimum age requirement prescribed by statutory authorities for the respective course.

Nationality:
Applicant must be an Indian national or as per Government of India/University norms for international candidates.

Document Verification:
Submission of valid academic certificates, identity proof, and other required documents at the time of admission.
