FLAME University, located in Lavale Village, Pune, was established in 2015 as a state-private university under the FLAME University Act 2014, Government of Maharashtra. Recognised by the UGC and accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade, it stands among India’s premier institutions for Liberal Education. The university is ISO-certified, a Jain minority institution, and a member of AACSB, reflecting its global academic standards. Through its five distinguished schools—School of Liberal Education, School of Business, School of Communication, School of Computing and Data Sciences, and School of Design, Art & Performance—FLAME offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes designed to nurture intellectual curiosity and interdisciplinary learning.

Admission Process

FLAME University admission 2025 is now open for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across five major schools — Liberal Education, Business, Communication, Design, Art & Performance, and Computing & Data Sciences. The university follows a comprehensive selection process that assesses a candidate’s academic performance, aptitude, and overall personality. Admissions are based on the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT), followed by essay writing and a one-way video interview. However, candidates who have valid scores in national-level entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, NMAT, MAH-CET, CMAT, SAT, or ACT are exempted from FEAT but still need to complete the essay and interview rounds.

For undergraduate programs like BA, BBA, and BSc, applicants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. For postgraduate courses such as the MBA, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 60% aggregate marks from a recognized university. Admission to the MBA program is based on performance in FEAT or national exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, or MAH-CET, along with personal interviews.

FLAME University also offers a PhD program for candidates with a postgraduate degree and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in a relevant field. Admission to the PhD course is based on academic merit, research proposal, and interview performance.

The application process is completely online via the official FLAME University website. Applicants need to fill out the form with personal details, academic qualifications, entrance test scores, extracurricular achievements, and a statement of purpose (SOP). After submission, shortlisted candidates are invited for further evaluation.

FLAME University also provides scholarships ranging from 15% to 100% of tuition fees based on merit, financial background, and special achievements. The final selection of candidates is made after evaluating all components — entrance scores, essay, interview, and overall profile — ensuring a transparent and merit-based admission process.
