About Us

Dr. Subhash University stands as one of Junagadh’s most respected educational institutions, carrying forward a legacy that began in 1976 when the visionary industrialist and philanthropist Shri Pethaljibhai Chavda founded the Dr. Subhash P. Chavda Ahir Kelavani Mandal. What started as a noble initiative to promote girls’ education gradually expanded into the renowned Dr. Subhash Academy, today managing several institutes across the Junagadh region. With the belief that “Education is a Tradition,” the academy has been shaping young minds from primary schooling to postgraduate studies in Arts, Commerce, Home Science, Journalism, BSc, and BCA.

Recognizing the growing need for technical and professional education, the trust established Dr. Subhash University in 2010. Nestled near the scenic Girnar mountain range, the university began its journey with engineering, pharmacy, and MCA programs. It quickly became Junagadh’s only integrated professional institute within the city’s municipal limits, approved by AICTE and PCI and affiliated with GTU during its initial years.

Today, DSU is a vibrant private university spread across 12 acres of modern infrastructure, equipped with advanced labs, a resource-rich library, collaboration zones, a café, and essential student facilities.
