Arka Jain University (AJU), established in 2017 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, is a state private university created under the Arka Jain University Act passed by the Jharkhand State Legislature. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), AJU is the first private university in the Kolhan region, which covers East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Saraikela-Kharsawan districts. The university is accredited by multiple statutory bodies such as AICTE, BCI, PCI, OCI, INC, JNRC, AIU, and ASCO, and is also an ISO-certified Educational Organization Management System.

With over 5,000 students, 175 faculty members, and 30 academic programmes across seven schools, Arka Jain University has emerged as one of the leading higher education institutions in eastern India. Arka Jain University accepts CUET UG scores for undergraduate admissions and conducts its own AJU-CET entrance exam for UG and PG courses. For professional programmes like BPharm, NEET UG scores are required. Admission Process

Arka Jain University (AJU), located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, has opened admissions for the 2025 academic session across undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programmes. Established in 2017 under the Jharkhand State Legislature, AJU offers a wide range of courses in engineering, management, pharmacy, law, commerce, humanities, biotechnology, optometry, and health sciences. The university follows a transparent admission policy that combines merit-based and entrance-based evaluations to ensure the selection of capable and deserving candidates.
For undergraduate programmes such as B.Tech, B.Pharm, BBA, BCA, and integrated law, applicants must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with at least 45 percent marks from a recognised board. Admission to the B.Tech programme is based on valid scores in JEE Main, CUET, or the university’s own entrance test known as AJU-CET. For professional programmes like B.Pharm, candidates must have appeared for NEET or other approved state-level entrance examinations.
For postgraduate programmes, AJU offers degrees such as MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Com, and MA. Admission to the MBA programme is based on scores in CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT, followed by group discussion and personal interview rounds. Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech are evaluated through GATE or AJU-CET, while MCA and other master’s programmes accept CUET-PG scores or internal university entrance exams. Applicants must hold a recognised bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks to be eligible for postgraduate admission.
At the doctoral level, admission is based on academic merit, research aptitude, and performance in the university’s Ph.D. entrance examination, followed by a personal interview. Candidates with valid UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, or GATE qualifications are exempted from the entrance test.
The application process at Arka Jain University is available both online and offline. Applicants can visit the official website to register, fill out the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee of ₹1,000 (₹500 for SC, ST, and OBC candidates). Alternatively, candidates can collect and submit the form in person at the university’s admission office. Required documents include academic mark sheets, certificates, photographs, migration and character certificates, and entrance exam scorecards.
